Even the recruiter gets recruited sometimes
A new chapter began for me on Sept 27, 2010. If I were writing a book, this chapter would be titled "Back to College." I have left the world of executive search to become the Director, Office of Career Development at the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan. For me, it's a bit of a homecoming as I graduated from here with a BBA in 1979. The old building is gone, but the spirit is here (and some of the same faculty, too).
It is an exciting time at the b-school. Interviews have begun for full-time jobs and many companies are on campus every day presenting information about themselves. It's a thrill knowing that walking within these walls are future business leaders and entrepreneurs.
